What is JumpStart?
Lancaster Bible College is proud to offer you the opportunity to take one tuition-free course each fall and spring of your junior and senior years! That means you can earn up to 12 college credits before you even graduate from high school. Here's how it works. Students must be in their high school junior or senior years in order to qualify for the program. While the course is tuition-free, there are a few nominal fees associated with the class.
When can I register for Spring 2009 JumpStart Session?
Registration will begin at 8:00 am on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 and will end at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2009. Applications will not be accepted before or after these dates!

How will registration change for JumpStart in Fall 2009?
Starting Fall 2009, in order to participate in the JumpStart Program, students will need to fill out a JumpStart Application. The application will require students to submit high school transcripts as well as scores from the SAT, ACT or PSAT. This is very important to note due to the dates these tests are offered. To find out more about these tests you can go to www.collegeboard.com.
After submitting the application, the student will be notified of their acceptance into the JumpStart program and then they will be given the appropriate paperwork for registering for their tuition free course.

What if I've already taken a JumpStart class?
If you have already participated in the JumpStart Program prior to Fall 2009, then you are "grandfathered" into the program and are not required to fill out an application nor submit test scores (unless test scores will meet the pre-requisite for a course offered). Registration will be the same for these students.
Orientation
Orientation is mandatory in order to take a class this semester. If you have already attended Orientation, you do not need to attend again - this is a one-time event!
Orientation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 8:30am - 11:00am. Students will receive information on their class and upcoming JumpStart events as well as receive a tour of the campus.
